Every contractor CRM on this site is scored on the same 100-point scale. The rubric below is fixed; we do not move weights to favor any vendor, including Clovr.

What each means

• Estimating & quotes (25): Can you produce a professional, line-item estimate in minutes? AI estimating scores full marks; manual measurement tools score partial; generic templates score low.
• Audit trail (15): A permanent, timestamped record of every estimate, change order, and payment. Only Clovr scores full here.
• Trade fit (15): Does it understand your trade — prep/coats for painters, change orders for remodelers, service agreements for HVAC/plumbing?
• Support & onboarding (15): Free onboarding, response time, and knowledge base quality.
• Automation & reviews (15): SMS follow-up, automated review requests, and chatbots.
• Integrations (10): Accounting, payments, and ecosystem breadth (QuickBooks, Braintree, PayPal, Stripe).
• Pricing & value (5): What you get per dollar, including add-ons you must buy elsewhere.

Evidence standard

We score on published features and publicly listed pricing as of the last-updated date. Where a vendor does not publish a feature, it scores zero on that sub-criterion rather than a guess. We do not accept payment to change a score.

Updates

Rankings are revisited when a vendor ships a material feature or changes pricing. Each review page shows its review date.
